Answers:
If you need a RC, then you probably had or have an infection associated with a tooth!. If you went to the ER for a tooth ache, then your dentist probably didn't have you or you didn't take any antibiotics for any infection!. The ER probably Rx'd you some antibiotics to take which you should take till completed!.

In two days, you should still have the RC which will be a breeze!. People often think the RC is very painful!. In fact, it'll be to the easiest thing dentally!. In fact, many people end up falling asleep in the dental chair!. It's what leads up to the RC that people hate!. Like a rotted out tooth or trauma to the tooth!. That's the sucky part!.

Having an infection can affect the effectiveness of the novacaine, so it's best to take care of the infection before the RC!.

You'll be very surprised afterwards how easy the RC will be!.

Take care!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

From my experience, my patients with very little pain before the root canal have very little pain after the root canal!. I hope this is true for you!. It shouldn't be painful during the procedure, and your doctor should give you a rx for pain meds if he thinks you will be in pain!. Advil can help also, if you don't do the pain meds!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
