Question: I got my wisdom teeth removed Thursday!.!?
so its been half of a week!. I woke up Monday morning, and i felt really sick and ended up puking!. I do have stiches, and they have been dissolving!. It seemms that the left side of my mouth is much more sensitive and it hurts if lightly touched by the top of my mouth, i don't recall this happening before and i was wondering if you think it's likely that i might have dry socket, and what to do about it since my mom isn't talking to me because she won't apologize for something that happened!. i'm sixteen and i got mine removed about a year ago!. that's completely normal to get sick, your meds probably caused it with not enough food in your stomache!. its also normal that one side hurts more!. my right side hurt more because they had to cut deeper to get mine out!. my advice is to wait out another few days, and i suspect things will get better!. if it's been over a week and you're still having severe pains, get it checked out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It's normal process of healing!. Do not spit the saliva too much and do not touch the extraction socket with your hand or play with your tongue because it can really cause dry socket!. Dry socket hurts and it hurts more than when you first took your wisdom teeth out!. Just take some pain pills, follow instruction sheet given by your dentist and observe for 2 weeks!. It seems like you had surgical partial/full bony extractions!. It can take up to 2 months to heal completely!. Suture will dissolve on it's own so you shouldn't worry too much about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Don't wait till things get bad!. I was about your age when I had four removed at one time!. (The upper ones were practically in my ears they were so out of alignment!.) I had made another visit to my dentist because things didn't feel right!. He started poking around in there and discovered they had never removed the dressings from the holes!. GROSS!!!
Seriously, don't let your fallout with your mother keep you from getting checked out!. You can lose a lot of blood from that procedure even long after it occurs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

hello, im 15 and i just had mine out a few weeks ago!. The left side of my mouth hurt a lot more just because they had to dig a lot farther to get it out!. I think that i got a dry socket because of the amount of pain i was in!.!.!.but i didn't get it checked out and i was fine!. the doctor should have a routine check up planned for you!.if not call the doctor yourself and explain the problem!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
oh good god i just had a dry socket!. its so awful!. for me the pain killers wouldnt even help the pain anymore!. and it only didnt hurt if like i had my tongue back there keeping air out!. it was awful! :( go to a followup and let them see!. it more than likely is and theyll pack it with some AWFULLLLL stuff, but it feels sooooooo much better! then you go and get it out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
