Is cleaning my mouthguard with a little bleach harmful?!

Question: Is cleaning my mouthguard with a little bleach harmful!?
I have a dental mouthguard because I grind my teeth at night!. It's a hard clear plastic!. The dentist said to store it in water every day but I didn't; just brushed it and now there's a little bit of mold on it!. I soak it in Listerine every day but it hasn't helped the mold!.

Can I use a little bleach, and if so what's the safest way!? Or any other ways to get rid of the mold!? Thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
