Question: I have my first appointment for braces next week!!!!?
i am just wondering when i go in for my first appointment next monday, whats gonna happen!? and how many appointments did it t ake you before getting your braces {3,maybe} i am begging you PLEASE tell me everything you know about braces and what colors i should get because im not usually known as the girl with braces and since im gonna get them i mines well look Good in them ? thank you guys so much!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

well when u go in 4 the 1st time they're just gonna tell u y ur gettin them and talk 2 ur parents bout how much it'll cost and stuff like tht!.u usually have 1 or 2 b4 u get the actual braces!.as 4 colors DO NOT do white or clear or yellow becuz they show food stains!.i have them and i gottem tightend yesterday so i'm pretty well educated on the matter!.good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
I have braces this is my 2nd day with them on and let me tell you, night 1 and day 2 are the worst! Pressure & soreness yes but, you can choose colors for them!I don't know, I guess I had about 3 appointments before they put them on!. The 4th app!. they put blue rubber bands (spacers) in between every tooth in the back (that's only 4) and then I went back the next week to get my braces put on! They do hurt the forst couple of days but, all you have to do is take some Ibeprophen!. I'm not trying to scare you or anything but, the actual part where they put on your braces doesn't hurt!. Only after you leave the dentist office does it start!. So I'd take some medicene before you go to get them put on!

On my first appointment, the orthodontist looked at my teeth and told my mom how long I would have them on and what I needed and such!. On my second appointment, they took pictures of my teeth, put this nasty stuff in my mouth and took molds of my teeth, and gave me spacers!. On my third (yesterday), I got my spacers taken off and got my braces!. Its gonna be fine!. The worst part is the spacers because you can't really chew for a while and all you will be eating is soup until you get them taken off, but you will be fine by the third day!. My braces are ceramic brackets on top (so if I have to take a picture or something, they can just take the wire off and you won't be able to see the brackets!.) and the bottom ones are regular!. I got school colors on mine, but next time I am getting my favorite football team's colors!.

All they do is they take ex-rays of your teeth and then they look at your teeth!. If you have a lot of baby teeth you probably wont get braces for a little while!. If you don't have any baby teeth or you only have a few baby teeth left they'll probably say your going to need braces soon or your ready for braces!. As for colors when i first got my braces on i got pink and orange they look really cute!. Also blue and green looks good together!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

but the second and third r painful!
take some tylenol or some kind of pain releiver an hour or two before u go and it won't hurt as bad=]
and u get them tightened two months later! and if u need spacer or if ur mouth is to small they will put a apparatus in the top of ur mouth (my sis had that) it will be more appointments!

well i had braces b4 and the fist app!. i had was they did molds for fitting and gave me spacers then they gave me bands when i came back the next app!. when i came bac next time they gave me the accual braces!. then u have to come back every moth to change colors get them tightendWww@Answer-Health@Com
