I smoke once/twice a week!. I was wondering if the dentist would be able to tell!. I got one of my teeth removed and there was a hole in it and it was black!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Probably, b/c he/she is working in very close quarters in your mouth, so there are probably still traces of it on your breath -no matter how often and well you brush!. Smoking also stains teeth -again, no matter how often and well you brush!. It is best to just be honest and say something like "Yes, but not very often/only every now and then/but not habitually!." It may seem like a personal question, but they do need to know, so that they ensure that your teeth get the best care that they can!. If you are ashamed to say 'yes' if they ask, then maybe you need to give it up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Most smokers I've met had the aroma of tobacco on them!. How much the they smoke determines how much they smell!. So I would imagine a dentist can smell a smoker!.

If you only smoke once or twice a week, assuming that you brush your teeth, than most likely know!. If you're a chain smoker, a dentist would have an easier time telling!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
