Question: Braces today!?
Hey im getting my braces on today!.!.!. in 1hr 13mins and 43seconds actually (pft but who's counting!?) Is it going to hurt getting my spacers taken out!? What else can I expect!? Help would be great!.!.!. so nervous :o for me the worst part is not being able to swallow cause that makes me freak and gag!.!. LolWww@Answer-Health@Com

I have braces t, It doesn't hurt getting them on but it will hurt after about an hour or two of getting them on!. The dentist/orthodontist ill let you spit out any excess spit you have in your mouth, you might even be able to swallow while he is busy getting one of the brackets ready, that's what I did!. You might want to if you have one bring along n ipod and listen to it while you get them on, it can take a while!. My dentist was fine with me bringing in mine, the receptionist actually suggested I bring it in! Make sure you eat before you get them on and brush your teeth well!. You won't be able to eat for about an hour after getting them on, this is so that the cement stuff they use can dry!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
