Tetracycline staining is not on the surface, it goes through the enamel and into the dentin!. Because of this, it is not easily changed!. I have often prepared these teeth for veneers and caps and found them to get darker the more tooth structure I removed!. At the moment there is no other way to whiten them and the person who said to use strawberries is an idiot and knows nothing about tetracycline stains!.
