You can remove the gauze by now, it may be causing the bleeding to continue!. What little seepage you have will dissipate and won't harm you to swallow!.

It would be fine for you to eat soft foods now, such as ice cream, smoothies, scrambled eggs, soups, pasta, mac and cheese, oatmeal, soggy cereals!.!.!.!.anything such as these!. Just nothing really hot (warm is OK) and no drinks through a straw or smoking!. It's the suction action (like through a straw) that you want to avoid right now!. The ice cold drinks (such as iced tea or a milk shake with a spoon) will actually help to stop the bleeding and reduce the swelling!.

By tomorrow you can rinse with warm salt water several times a day and especially after eating!. Remember to continue with good oral hygiene to keep the bacteria count down and prevent an infection from developing!. You'll feel better in a few days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I got one pulled about six months ago- I feel your pain though I couldn't imagine having all four at once! You can take the gauze out to go to sleep, it won't harm you!. I was eating regular foods after about two days!. Try ice cream, mashed potatoes, yogurt, soup without meat or big veggies, smoothies, etc!. If you get hungry but can't bring yourself to eat because it hurts, slim fast is a good option!. They're drinkable and are a healthy temporary meal replacement!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You won't bleed all night, but you are going to be swollen and sore for a few days; and very tender for about 2 weeks, maybe 3!. Real food, I guess that depends on how well you heal, and what instructions your oral surgeon gave you!. Took me several days and you have to be careful not let any pieces of food get in your stitched up gums! Eat some macaroni and cheese or stuff like that - doesn't have to be liquid, or mushy, just soft!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I actually work at a dentist!.!. It is totally normal for it to still be bleeding slightly!. It looks like its alot more blood than it actually as it gets mixed with your saliva!!! It is fine to swallow!. If you need to, put in more guaze packs and stay closed for at least 30 mins!.!.!.

In regards to the eating, everyone is different to how soon you feel better!. Only you will know when it feels right to be putting harder foods into your mouth!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

hey!!! the same thing happened to me when i was nine! they had to put me to sleep and pull out 4 of my grown up teeth because my mouth was too small to hold all of my teeth lol! so anyways it will not harm you at night, ull probably stop bleeding soon, i could eat real food within a couple of days but used it as an excuse to keep eating ice cream lol! you could also try eating soup, oatmeal (i dont rlly lk oatmeal, but wut ever) and smoothies!. u will probably eat a lot of mashed potatoes though! hope i helped!Www@Answer-Health@Com
