yes its normal!. this will happen for the first few days!. realize that your mouth just got a lot of stress put on it!. in my opinion, braces only hurt the most when you first get them put on!. when you start getting them tightened once a month, it does hurt a little but you kinda get used to it!. (or at least i did)

When i first got my braces I tried eating a pork chop and was in for a rude awakening!
It hurt like heck! I just made sure I had tylenol or advil and within 3-5 days I got used to it!.!.!.
but when you go back in couple months to get your wires tightened, you will feel the same painWww@Answer-Health@Com

It is normal but it should stop in a few days to a week!. This will happen most every time they are adjusted aswell!. Trust me though it's worth the pain in the long run!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
yes, very normal!. This will stop hurting though!. Ive had mine on for 2 months now and I am very used to them!. They are a little sore at times [when they are tightened] but its much better than the beginning!.

Yep, and everytime you get them tightened they'll hurt too!. Drink some cold water, take some aspirin!. You'll be okay in a few days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
