ok well I have braces and have had them for about a year now!. SO The seperaters (which come before braces) normaly hurt until you get them off however they're only there for about a week or less!. The braces hurt for 3-7 days depending on which rack it was!. The Bottom ones hurt for 3 days!. The top ones hurt for a week (I also had overcrowded teeth though) After some time (2 weeks to a month) you won't even fell your braces anymore it will be just like having just your teeth there!. A couple of my friends said it feels wierd when you get them off!. Like a glossy coated 'something'!. Anyway good luck with the new braces :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

It depends on the braces and the methood the ortho uses but it varies from 1 day to 1 week!. Fortunately, mine only lasted a few hours, but it was hard to eat for the first few days!. The pain really isnt bad at all though!! And when you get them off its completely worth it!!! Good luck!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Some people say it doesent hurt and some say that the pain can last up to 3 weeks!. It just depends on your pain tolerance!. Im getting my bottom brackets on this month so I hope im one of those people who says it doesent hurt at all! Good luck =)Www@Answer-Health@Com
It depends!.!.!. most people won't get braces because their teeth are straight!. People can get braces at any age around lets say 11+!? Until you get your adult teeth!. I never had braces before and I'm 14 and ill probably never get them but I know a friend who has them!. I only know how long you have them for thats all!. Your mouth will feel sore off and on the entire time you have them!. Everytime you go to the orthodontist to get the wires changed it makes them a little tighter each time!. That's how your teeth get straightened!. It's not too bad though!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
the pain lasts for a few days!. The pain comes from your teeth being moved into place!. To help get rid of the pain, gargle with warm salt water, eat softer foods, and take IB Profin (it works best on mouth pains) Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

When you first get them on they hurt for like a week after then the teeth get use to it and they stop hurting!. But then after each visit to get them adjusted they hurt for about 3 days afterwards!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
They don't hurt when you get them on it hurts after 2 or 3 hours and thats it but your teeth will be sore for awhile but thats it so ya you would have to eat soft stuffWww@Answer-Health@Com
