The average time is 18-24 months!. That's for full upper and lower braces!. As long as you do what your orthodontist asks you to do(IE: wear rubber bands as directed, not eatting sticky chewy foods, being careful with your braces, brushing properly) it shouldn't be any longer than that!. And feel free to ask questions to your Doctor!. I'm sure he and or the staff will be happy to answer them for you!. But in the end when your braces come off, be sure to wear your retainers as directed!. If you don't, especially with in the first 2 years, I can promise you your teeth will shift back!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They'll ask if you've started puberty etc to determine how long you've got to wear them!. Hence, when you're an adult your jaw is fully developed so you've got to have them longer!.

Well tbh it depends on how screwed your teeth are
I was mean to have mine on for 3 years but the practice took them off after 6 months - now my teeth look worse tha before After the brace treatment you wiill need to wear a ESSEX RETAINER a clear plastic denture type thing you put in at night - this is what makes the brace cont - you dont wear it your screwed - yuo break or chew it -again your screwedWww@Answer-Health@Com

You should ask your orthodontist because that person should know an estimated time to get your braces off!.
I went to mines like a day ago and they told me i would have for 2 to 2 in a half years!. Depends on how bad your teeth are!.

Different people are different!. i wore mine about a year and a half!. some people wear longer or shorter!. don't be in too much of a hurry!. you want to make sure they're perfect before you get them off!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
ask your orthodontist, but 2 years is the average!. make sure you do what you're told so you don't have to wear them longer!. or worse, have them put back on because you didn't use your retainer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
