ok i went to the dentist about 4 month ago and i need a fillen in my molar the one right at the back on the bottom on the riht hand side my parents forgot to make an oppiontment for me to get one and now iv just looked and it looks like the middle of the tooth has gone a dark colour
will i have to have it taken out and if i do does it hurt at all!?!?!?!?!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your tooth, or the gumline around it doesn't hurt yet, I'll bet the dentist will just clean out the decay and fill it ~ If the tooth feels loose at all, it may have to be pulled ~ I think the shot is the worst part, but they put a numbing agent on a Qtip first to make the shot feel more like a stick pin prick ~ Your filling will ache for a few hours after the novicane wears off, but a pulled tooth will make your gumline ache and throb for a day~ Pick out your favorite flavor of Jello to make recovery a bit easier!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
I've had the same thing happen!. ok so heres the deal, If it is a baby tooth and it is really bad you have 3 options!.
Number 1: You can have a cap put on it!.!.!. but i've never had that done, so idk much about it
Number 2: Have the tooth pulled, which is what i did!. Honestly I didn't think it hurt at all (and im a baby when it comes to pain)!. The worst part is probably the shots, but still those aren't bad either!.
number 3: Root canal, but usually if its a baby tooth they won't do that
If it is a grown tooth, depending on how bad it is, they'll either put in a filling or do a root canal!. I have a friend who had a root canal in 4th grade, and she said it wasn't that bad (but i don't really know b/c I've never had 1) I don't think they would pull it out if it's a grown tooth!.
My suggestion is that if it's a baby tooth have it pulled, it doesn't hurt that bad, and i think if you have a cap put over it, it kinda aches after a while b/c it's decaying!.!.!.!.
