Ahhhh, A RETAINER!.!.!.You don't "need' one, but you "want" one!?!?!?!?!?!.!.!.To tell you the truth, I would have to question the integrity of any dental professional who would attempt to make you one!.!.!.!.I wouldn't expect a surgeon to take out your appendix, just because "you want it out"!.!.!.I wouldn't expect an Optometrist to give you prescription glasses just because "you want them"!.!.!.the fact is your asking a health professional to commit fraud!. How does he or she know you wouldn't attempt to sue them for making you a health appliance you didn't need !?!?!.!.!.!.Nope!.!.!.I wouldn't touch you if you were willing to pay ten times the fee!.!.!.!.Look, I don't mean to be-little you, not at all, what I want you to understand is that when it comes to health related appliances or procedures, it's unprofessional and in some cases illegal to provide the service or the appliance even if the patient authorizes it!.!.!.!.I do however wish you well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If you don't need one, then don't get one!. They are expensive and they do exactly what they are called "retain"!. And you shouldn't retainer something that wasn't corrected!. An orthodontist( a good one anyways) won't give you one just because you want one!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
retainers are for post-braces use ONLY! You never had braces, I assume, so why!? Uh you don't want one, it makes you sound like a mentally disabled reader, you drool, and you have to clean it!. lol!. You could try a nightguard from Wal Mart or something like that!?!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
