Is there a way where the root can be removed?!

Question: Is there a way where the root can be removed!?
Like, my tooth rotted away because I didn't get a filling and gone to the dentist because I was scared!. So the top part of my tooth (not the roots) fell off, and the root is still in my gum!. Is there a way where the root can be removed!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
when only the root is left they do oral surgery!.!. much like extracting wisdom teeth!. my brother had this done not to long ago!. and he said it was just like having your wisdom teeth cut out!.!.!. best thing to do would be to contact your dentist (a dentist) and have them refer you to one!.

I hope this helps!.

There are two options for your tooth!. If the root structure is good enough then they do a root canal treatment for the root and then place pins known as post and build up the crown portion (the complete procedure is called post and core preparation)!. Once the build up is done they place a crown!. The advantage here is that you need not get the root removed and there is a single crown!. Other option is to get the root removed!. It is a procedure similar to tooth extraction but preferably done by an experienced dental surgeon or an oral surgeon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you need to see a oral surgen a regular dentist wont even be able to do it -- if there is nonthing to hold onto when trying to pull it out -- they might need to open you up on your gums a bit to get it all out ---like 1 stitch !.!.!. dont worry they will numb you so you wont feel a thing!.!.!. just bring your checkbook dental work is expensive!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like it's too far gone to have a root canal done, where they remove the root and leave the "shell" of the tooth!. They would most likely just extract the tooth, or what's left of it, and in doing so, the root and everything will be removed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Visit your dentist and he/she will do what you like!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
