Answers:
The taste in your mouth is the combination of blood, saliva and a of the food you have been eating especially if it is dairy based which will leave you with bad breath!. Be careful and do the salt water rinse but NOT swish it just move it back and forth in your mouth and let it fall out of your mouth (NO SPITTING) in a cup so you make sure you see if you have dislodged one of your clots!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I only wore the gauze for about 2 hours after surgery!. The weird taste is from the gauze, blood, and medication!. It will go away soon!.

Good foods to eat: Soup (not too hot or it will melt your stitches away if you have the kind that do not need to be removed), yogurt, soft granola bars, noodles, ice cream, and pudding!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The taste will disappear soon, its nothing unusual!.
I didnt use gauze at all, just spat blood in the sink until it stopped bleeding (took about 14-16hours)
And yoghurt/ milkshake/smoothies are good- anything you dont have to chew!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
