It is possible but not really recommended - the soda can pool in the retainer so it's like a little acid bath for your teeth, causing erosion and decay!. If you do drink soda with your retainer on, make sure to rince your retainer afterwards!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I have a clear retainer too, i'm wearing it right now!. You can drink whatever you want with it in, it doesn't do anything to it!. If you drink cool aid it might change the color the cool aid is but you can always brush your retainer with a toothbrush and it will be the regular color again!.
You should brush your retainer everyday because plaque gets stuck in the little ridges!.

Wait!.!.!.why would you be wearing it when you were drinking/eating anyway!? When I had retainers (yes, two) they only wanted me to wear them at night!.!.!. well, I don't know I guess different orthodontists have different ideas and stuff but no, Sprite won't alter it or anything!. I don't recommend it!. I had a friend who had a clear retainer!. At lunch when she took it out, it looked really disgusting!. It had turned a dark yellow!. If you do, drink it with a straw!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I suggest not because the acid can wear down the retainer and take away the shine!. I have the exact same thing on but my dentist told me no soda when I have the retainer on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
