My kitty's gums are red.?!

Question: My kitty's gums are red!.!?
My cat is almost 1 year old!. Lately he has been chewing on cardboard!. ie!. shoeboxes, toliet paper rolls, cardboard boxes etc!. I looked at his teeth yesterday and noticed that his gums are a little red around his teeth!. It looks like he still has some teeth coming in so I'm not sure if he is just teething right now or if he has some sort of gum infection or something!. He is stil eating his kibble food and doesn't look like it's painful!. My vet is closed today, but I think i will try to bring him in tomorrow if it is serious!. Am I just worrying too much or should I make sure he gets to the vet ASAP!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
well, looks like u care for your kitten a lot!

just take him, to be safe-
no harm in visiting the vets, is there!?
i mean, that is their job!.

dont worry, just take him to the vets, explain what has happened, and they'll take care of him! As long as he isn't in pain!
