Retainer Question???!

Question: Retainer Question!?!?!?
I have had my braces off for about 2 months and I have the invisalign retainers!. I cracked the bottom part for my teeth and the dentist glued it back (badly)!. He says that if that doesn't work that my parents will have to pay 800 dollars for a new one (just the bottom)!. I feel horrible and I don't want my parents to have to pay for a new one!.

My question is!.!.If I don't wear it, will it mess up my teeth again!? (The problem they fixed with my braces was in the top row of teeth not the bottom) [I keep thinking that if I don't wear the bottom one that it won't make a difference because they didn't do anything at all with the bottom row of teeth]

If any of you can give me a professional opinion I would really appreciate it!

Please and Thank You!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am not a professional; however since I have paid out over $3000 for my son's teeth/braces, I feel like I can answer this question!. The reason you have retainers is to keep your teeth in line and not let them shift!. If you go without a retainer, even on the bottom teeth, your teeth can still shift and therefore, will not line up and be straight!. The best thing you can do is tell your parents and let them make the decision!. It would be a terrible thing if your teeth started shifting and were no longer in line if you chose not to wear a retainer!. I just got a new retainter for my son several weeks ago!. It really is a small price to pay considering what the actual braces and care cost!. The other option would be to start over with the braces and you know that would cost more than the price of a retainer!. Good luck and keep that wonderful smile in place!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, if you don't wear it, it will mess up your teeth again!.
Your top and bottom teeth need to be aligned or you will have problems chewing properly, that is why they also gave you something for the bottom one!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
