Can your parents MAKE you have teeth removal surgery?!

Question: Can your parents MAKE you have teeth removal surgery!?
moellers!. can they MAKE you or is it up to you in the endWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Can they make you!? Yes!.

Does it hurt!? Yes and No!. During the procedure they will numb you completely or put you into "twighlight" anesthesia (basically they get you so high with medicine you wouldn't feel or care what they do, if you are even awake to care at all)!. Afterwards, there is certainly going to be some pain, but you'll get medicine for that and you will do just fine (more about that below)!.

My biggest fear was the needle they use to numb you with!. I hate needles!. What you can do though is ask them to put a local anesthetic on your gums before they use the needle!. Its a gel they put on a Q-tip and wipe on your gums, it numbs it so much you can't even feel them injecting you!. And after they inject you, you definately can't feel anything at all, so you should be ok!.

The procedure is basically they same whether they are above or below the gums, though you will likely have to have a few more stitches with them being under your gumline!. I had 3 taken out along with an eyetooth (pray you never need to have an eyetooth removed)!.

Now, obviously this procedure is really worrying you, maybe even scaring you!. You need to go to your parents and say flat-out!.!.!. "I am REALLY scared of this procedure, no, I am REALLY REALLY scared"!. Have them explain clearly and precisely to you WHY you need this done!. Most likely it is because your molars are either!.!.!.

-Impacted: trust me, you want them out now, cause the pain of impacted molars is terrible!. Watch the movies "Castaway" with Tom Hanks or "Marathon Man" with Dustin Hoffman to understand the pain you would be in if you don't get this taken care of!.

-To large for your jaw (not enough space): Same story as above, if they don't come out, not only will you be in constant pain, but people will stare at you and say "Snaggletooth" under their breath because they will cause the rest of your teeth to shift into freakish positions!.

Finally, if your parents have even a glimmer of decency and love for you, they will make an appointment with the dentist for you where you can go in, privately, and speak with him!. Have him explain precisely why this needs to be done!. Make him draw you a picture on paper if necessary!. Have him show you the tools he will use if you feel it will put you more at ease!. Explain to him that you are freaking the hell out and need his help to calm your fears over this!. In some states, dentists can even prescribe you some pills like Valium to relax you before you even arrive at the office!. My dentist prescribed a couple for me cause I explained to him that I had hyperventilated from fear last time I had gone to the dentist!. They call this "Sedation Dentistry"!. As about it!.

Last but not least: They will give you AWESOME drugs to take afterwards to keep you comfortable!. I am not advocating drug use, but man was I "happy" for the next few days afterwards!. And I got to skip school for a week, and I got all the icecream I wanted, and I got to lie in bed, watch tv, and enjoy my medicines!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i dont think any dentist or oral surgeon wound operate on someone who refused the surgery, but they also would not do it if it was not necessary!. im also sure that no parents would MAKE their child have teeth removed if it wasnt in their best interest!. i had to have my wisdom teeth cut out before they even came through my gums because i did not have room for them!. if they were even able to come in, they would have pushed around the rest of my teeth making them crooked!. im sure if the dentist says that you need it done, then you do!. good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

they can't force you to do anything!. that'd be like forcing you to pierce your ear, or get a tattoo or something like that!.
BUT, if something like that is nesiccary, why wouldn't you want something done!? it'll probably make you look better!. and later in life, when you're older, and it's bothering you!.!.!.!.!.i'm sure you'll wish you had gotten it taken care of when your parents were paying for you!.!.!.!.!.!.
