Is it safer to let my son get his wisdom teeth out with anesthesia?!

Question: Is it safer to let my son get his wisdom teeth out with anesthesia!?
Answers:
I knew two people who had to get their wisdom teeth taken out without anesthesia, due to health problems!. It was a horrible experience for them!. Talk to the oral surgeon about the risks of both ways for your son!. If your son is healthy anesthesia is the way to go!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I recommend anesthesia in any case but take this into consideration!. If the wisdom teeth are being removed because of decay it is probably ok to be put completely out through sedation!. I would not recommend complete sedation if the teeth are still good!. It is possible to dislocate or even break the jaw when removing perfectly good wisdom teeth to make space!. If the patient is awake with a well applied general anesthetic, it will not hurt too badly in most cases and the patient will be alert enough to notify the dentist of stress to the jaw bone!. In most cases the dentist will place a rubber bite on the side opposite the extraction and prevent dislocation of the patient's jaw by having the patient bite down on the rubber during the extraction process!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's not safer, but it is a lot crueler!.
It'll hurt enough with anesthesia, don't deny him a little relief!. Are you gonna deny him aspirin afterwards, too!?
Doctors don't use painkillers that are likely to hurt people!. Statistically, you were more likely to die giving birth to him than him getting hurt from laughing gas!. He's more likely to get hit by a meteor!.
Give him the painkillers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

gotta say i agree with hilary!.

Speak to the dentist, but they're generally not like other teeth - they come out at weird angles or like mine can be decayed before they even break the gums - they're also way back in the mouth - all round they're troublesome things to have out & it's better NOT to be conscious for the experience!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

depends how old he is and if he's fearful!. i had one taken out while i was awake, no biggy, just alot of pressure and sounds!. have a consulation with the oral surgen to let them explain it to you and him and go from there!. good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

YOUR CHILD MAY NOT NEED INTRAVENOUS SEDATION, BUT HE WILL NEED LOCAL ANESTHESIA!. W/O IT THIS WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE!.
LOCAL ANESTHESIA IS VERY SAFE AND EFFECTIVE!. IT'S THE MOST COMMON TYPE!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
