Ok they told me im getting my braces off tomarow for sure!.
Ive heard of impressions for retainers!.!.what are those!.!.
I havent gotten those yet!.!.Do i need them before the braces or after the brace

The impressions for the retainer basically means they'll take a model of your teeth, usually with wax, after they take the braces off, so they can make the retainer fit your teeth and hold them there so you don't need braces again!. They should take them at your orthodontist after they take off the braces!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I found getting braces off made my teeth and jaw a little sore, so what I'd recommend is taking some Advil or similar painkiller just before getting them out to fend off any potential pain!.
Don't even sweat the dental impressions for the retainers, that's easy!. They'll need to do it after the braces are off!.

impressions are nothing; they just put a tray with 'wax' like stuff and you close your mouth on it for a few minutes!. It tastes really bad though! The only other bad thing is when they file the left over glue (from your brackets) off of your teeth!. The filer thing gives me the chills!. Enjoy your new straight teeth!Www@Answer-Health@Com
lucky! i just got my braces and its annoying and the retainers r for for teeth like u had braces right if u dont have a retainer for little while the teeth go back the way they were, so the braces were useless if u dont get the retainerWww@Answer-Health@Com
they feel uncomfortable n make u sound like stan's sister from southpark 4 the 1st couple of days (look on youtube!.com if u really wanna no) but after about 4 days i sounded almost completely normal
