Answers:
well honestly, yes!. they hurt really ad actually!.
but there's no need to fear because luckily, i have been there done that and am readdy to help! (:

be sure to follow all dental instructions when you recieve them, it may sound just like BLAH BLAH BLAH, but its definatly worth listening to in the long run(:

DON'T YOU DARE eat any sticky, gummy foods!. i didn't care and didnt listen and chewed on my gum and starbursts and they came out and that heard just as bad!. then you'll have to get them put back in again and that hurts alot worse!.

Don't pick at it or try to get it out!. just let it be, or else you'll get germs in your mouth and might actually pull it out!. it may seem like what you want at the time, but belive me you only want them applied in your mouth ONCE!.

The truth is, it will hurt, but you need to find your level of pain tolerence and help it!. try taking advil before bed to reduce pain, or for an all natrual way to shake out your pain then check on a cold, wet rag!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I got my spacers on like two days ago and the day theyy put it on it didnt hurt but after about ten hours it started hurting for me and overnight!.

But the pain is starting to go away and this is my third day having them!.

It was so hard for me to eat though cause i was scared my orthodontist would get mad if mines fell out lol

It's not that painful just sore!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My teeth are pretty bad and they just put on my spacers yesterday, so far I haven't had ANY pain!. I think it really just depends on the person!. I'm usually pretty horrible with pain, but I haven't had any with the spacers yet!. They do feel a little weird like there is something stuck in your teeth but no pain for me!.

Hopefully you wont have any pain either!!

Goodluck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It depends on your pain tolerance!. I got them in for a bit and they hurt a little when they were putting them in, but that's because the space between my teeth is VERY tight and she had difficulties getting them in because of the tightness!. But the pain is bearable, if one could call it pain!. Just a very big discomfort!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

don't worry!. i just had them in and they hurt somewhat!. but not bad all the time!. just take some aleve and eat soft food!. even though the aleve will take the edge off, eating will hurt very badly!.(i suggest ice cream as a snack for awhile because it is soft, cold, and yummy!) and they don't hurt more then braces!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ask your dentist about these things!. It may well be that each individual case is different!. So, stop being so scared unless you are worried that the dentist is a bad one!.
Nobody likes to go to the dentist!. You are fortunate to be able to get the care you are getting!. My kids needed braces, but we never had the money to do it!. Someone is taking good care of you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i have 6 in my mouth right now!. i hate to say it, but living with these things are like a living nightmare!. it also depends how tight together your teeth are!. if they are really tight it will hurt really bad (trust me) if they are looser they will hurt a little for a day or so, but the pain will go awayWww@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah the spacers hurt! Srry!. But they hurt more than the damn braces!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Spacers hurt!.!.!. i'll be honest!. But it's not that bad so just suck it up!.!.!. it'll be worth it !.!. I might be getting my braces off tommorow after 2 and a half years!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I haven't had them, but I haven't heard that they hurt that bad!. But I would assume they would!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
