Answers:
Sometimes children go through two stages, one while their teeth are still coming in and falling out -- then another stage after their permanent teeth have come in, so that the teeth can be moved into their final positions!. It is very common for children who have problems to go in and have expanders or plates put in to help with the development of the jaw while it is growing!. This can reduce the amount of work they need done when they are older and also help with later orthodontic work!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Phase One ortho is when primary teeth are still present!. It helps to align the four front teeth into a relative straight position!. In Phase One ortho sometimes patients need an palatal expander to widen the maxillary arch!. Phase Two ortho is when all the permanent teeth are present!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
