Why don't you get scabs in your mouth?!

Question: Why don't you get scabs in your mouth!?
i cut my gum quite badly with my toothbursh the other day!. you would expect a cut to scab over!. but why dosent it scab over in your mouth!? why does it turn into an ulcer!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Scabs are caused by dried blood and clotting agents in your blood, but your mouth is too moist for anything to dry!. Therefore, scabs will never occur in the mouth!.The clot is however forming under the gum, where you can't see, just not above the surface like it would on your skin!. An ulcer is simply a sore, and that might be a misnomer for your injury if you actually cut the tissue!. It might be sore but it's still a cut!. Hope this helps, stay healthy!.
