Question: I have a question about braces!?
I'm getting braces tomorrow and I'm wondering, do you get a choice between metal or clear braces!? I forgot to ask my orthodontist the last time I was there!.

Unless you distinctively get Invisilign they will be the normal metal wire braces!. Invisilign is a whole different option and is usually a lot more expensive!.

I don't know for sure, but I imagine it depends on the amount of corrective work that needs to be done!. Steel is much more rigid than most plastics (also less likely to corrode or leave a funny taste in your mouth), so I expect it can exert more pressure to close larger gaps faster!.

the normal metal braces should be what you were paying for, it should cost u more to get clear ones!. Almost all orthodontists do both clear and metal braces!. But metal ones and clear ones are kind of the same!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
