Question: I had a brace put on today and suddenly i have a lisp!!!!?
Today i got a fixed brace put on my top and bottom teeth to straighten them!. As soon as it was done i couldnt talk properly but now i am sort of used to it but i have a slight lisp when i say "s's" Will this go away or will it last through out the 18 months i have this brace on for!! ROFL! Honey, don't worry!. xDD This is very normal, I actually spent weeks before I got my braces on DENYING that I would say THIMPLE instead of SIMPLE with all of my friends!. With a little practice, you should be able to get used to how your mouth and words work with the braces!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i have lots of friends who have braces on and at first they talk funny, but it will go away when they get used to them!. give it a little bit!Www@Answer-Health@Com
