White stuff in throat after tonsillectomy / post-op care?!


Question: White stuff in throat after tonsillectomy / post-op care!?
I had my tonsils removed on 7/21!.!. In the back of my throat, in the holes left by the tonsils, is COVERED in white stuff!.!.!. (eww)!.!.!.!. what is the cause of this and is there a way to remove it!? also, what is a good mouth wash to use to rinse the back of the throat!? I use distilled water in a syringe and spray it in the back of the throat, but it doesnt get it quite clean enough!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the tissue is healing, white dots are okay!. if they told you it was okay to use a mouth rinse, use crest pro health, its like listerine with out the burning alcohol that will hurt your open raw tissue!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't use Listerine or anything w/ alcohol in it, alcohol will dry out ur mouth & promote cavities!. Garggle warm salt water it acts like saliva & will help the healing process!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
