There are temporary and permanent fillings!. Temporaries are used when the dentist isn't yet finished working on the tooth!.
Permanents are 95% permanent!. I have teeth where every dentist who has put this filling in, has seen me only months later to put another in and another until we either pull it or do something else with it!.
If you don't get the cavity cleaned out and a filling put in, your tooth will continue to decay until you are in so much pain from inflamation that you wish you could unscrew your head and trash it! Once decay gets thru the protective layer of the tooth, it can just eat away!. Even if the doctor cleaned it up!.!.if they don't put in a filling, new decay will start over!.
Sounds to me like you are about to have your first tooth worked on!. Trust me, a good dentist, can have you in and out with minimal discomfort and you'll wonder why you were nervous in the first place! If the cavity is deep they will give you a shot to put that part of your mouth to sleep and you'll only feel pressure and hear the buzzing of the drill, and in the morning it may be a little sensitive where the injection site is!. Oh, and when doctors talk about drills, they're NOTHING like dads have in their woodshop!. These are little things about the size of a battery operated toothbrush and a drill bit about the size of a piece of string!
It'll be ok!. get that filling!.!.!.!.you'll be glad you did!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Cavity fillings are permanent, but the dentists recommend that it is replaced every 10 years!. They are neeed when a person must get a cavity( which is a hole in the tooth) filled to prevent worse decay that could lead to root canals!. There are three types of fillings!. Amalgram( black looking), which is the cheapest, Porcelin (white), and Gold, which is the most expensive!. I have had 9 cavities, and it doesnt hurt to get them!. Just dont wait because root canals hurt, and a crown is required and that costs A LOT!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Denitst can repair a cracked or broken teeth with fillings!.
Cavity fillings are used to fill holes in your teeth

Fillings have a limited life expectancy with an average filling lasting 5-7 years!. Sometimes the fillings only last 2 years and sometimes it is 20 years and that is dependent on diet and oral hygiene!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Cavities as in on your teeth!? !.!.
Well when you have a cavity, it's because of bad things for your teeth building up and making Plaque, that can get into your gums or into your teeth eventually and infect it in a way!. This makes your enamel form a whole in your tooth, that needs to be first removed of the infection of bad things, and filled so it won't get infected again like a bandaid!.
Cavities do not come off of your teeth, unless you grow in another tooth in its place!. From what I know, there's no dental work other than Braces/Routainers/False teeth that can come out after a while!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Cavity fillings are suppose to be lasting however there are not always pernament!. There are cases where the filling does fall out, but if done well that is a problem that should never occur!. THe filling is needed when your tooth has a cavity!.!.!.well duh the name clarifies that!. The dentist goes in cleans out the cavity on the tooth and the filling substites where the cavity was and prevents further tooth decay!. Without one you face getting an infection over time resulting in the whole tooth's removal!. Hope that answers your question!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They are permanent!. They are needed if there is a hole in the tooth!. If the hole isn't filled, food and bacteria can get into it, making it bigger!. If the hole is too big the tooth root may become infected!. If that happens you will end up with either a root canal or loosing the tooth completely!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They are suppose to be permanent but they come out !.!.!.!.!.then you have to go back and get the tooth refilled!.!.!.!.!.!.Fill ins are used to fill in the space where the cavity was removed!.!.!.!.!.with no fill ins the nerves remain exposed!.!.!.!.!.that would cause you to be in pain constantlyWww@Answer-Health@Com

Cavity fills are not permanent and are there to prevent further decay and/or damage to the nerve roots!. They can be replaced by permanent crowns, but because crowns are so expensive, most people get fillings!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

first of all they are permanent unless your tooth w the cavity filling falls out and second you need them because the cavity will eat your tooth and then go onto your other teeth and start eating themWww@Answer-Health@Com

yes they are,you need them cuz they drill your cavity off, and they use it as a replacment for the drilled tooth!. But they can be removed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
