Pain related to wisdom teeth removal?!

Question: Pain related to wisdom teeth removal!?
I got my wisdom teeth removed about 4 days ago!. I have been fine because they gave me a ton of ibuprofen to last me a month!.

However if i go about 10 hours without a pain killer I get this dull ache on my lower left side!. For the others I just feel swollen and pressure!.

I thought the pain was suppose to subside after about 4 or 5 days however I always wake up at night in pain on that side!. Is that normal!?

I've heard of dry socket but I don't think it is that painful but I don't know because I've never had it!. When I look back in my mouth the sockets look closed up but I don't see any dry blood!. so I can't really tell!.

When does pain usually go away without pain killers!?

Answers:
the weird taste is normal!. As food and debri get trapped in the socket, they begin to break down giving the bad taste and smell!. Usually some type of irrigating syringe is good to use after eatting!. As the far as the pain goes, it sounds like you might be developing a dry socket on that left side!. Dry sockets are usually very painful to most individuals!. I suggest returning to the surgeon for a dry socket packing and maybe a round of antibiotics!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds fine and normal to me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you are not happy about the pain you still have why not pop in by the dentist and let him or her have a look!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
