Question: Getting my braces off * 10 points *!?
Im getting my braces off soon!. whats the procedure!? and whats it feel like when it comes off!? how long do you wear a retainer for!? how long do they take to take it off!?

its really fast!. first they use a metal tool thingy and snap off all the rubber and wire and like the whole thing pops off!. it doesn't hurt!. feels a little weird though!. then they use a scary looking teeny drill that doesn't hurt at all and polish off all the cement glue stuff that take a while like 5 min i don't like it it makes your mouth really dry and tastes a bit like how smoke smells XP its yucky and dry!. but it doesn't hurt!.
for retainer you wear it 24/7 for 6 months but take it off when you eat!. then you wear it at night!.

i dont remember what it felt like but i wore my retainer for two years after when i should have never stopped so ask your orthodontist be cause you dont want them to shift back because they will trust meWww@Answer-Health@Com
