Depends how long you have been a smoker overall!. If your a first time user andf only smoked once I dont think the dentist will tell very easily!.
Im not an expert or anyhtng but I as former smoker I never had any dentist ask me if I smoked during my checkups!. Or maybe it was just he knew but felt it was of no danger to my teeth,,,,or that it was not for him to tell me!.
Lastly Im guessing there are other ways dentist can find out if you smoke other than just looking at your teeth!.
They can look at your lips!. Smokers have discoloured lips!. They can check your tongue since the smoke inhaled gathers there first before anywhere else!.
Lastly as a dentist they can examine the entrance of your throat and see if there are any telling signes like stained back of tongue or nicotene staines anywhere in that region!.
All the above stuff I mentioned are assumptions!. But generally unless its srious I dont think you will or shoud have any problems!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
