Dental acid erosion, can anything improve it?!

Question: Dental acid erosion, can anything improve it!?
I have nice healthy teeth but for one thing, my enamel seems to be 'worn away' the dentists says they have been acid damaged esp the front ones, they do look opaque slightly!.

I suppose this has been a gradual build up, even drinking 'healthy' fruit juice or fizzy diet drinks can cause it , its the acid in food !.

Dentist says there is no way to reverse it but I wondered if there was something to help strengthen my teeth , I drink a lot of milk and diet is good otherwise+I brush and floss twice a day !Www@Answer-Health@Com

Unfortunately there's no way to rebuild/repair enamel naturally!. Intake of calcium and brushing with a Fluoride toothpaste can help remineralize the dentin which can help you fight cavities; but like I said, there's no way to rebuild your enamel!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can ask for a flouride varnish to be put on those teeth, or ask your dentist for a prescription for a flouride rinse!. try rinsing your mouth with water after eating/drinking acidic foods and beverages!. If you have the money you could get veneers placed over those teeth!. They would look brand new after that!. Thats great keep up with good oral hygiene :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

i had this on my 2 front teeth!.!.!.I hated it as it looked slightly discoloured!.!.!.so i had a couple of dental veneers put on!.!.!.!.that was 17 years ago & they are still perfect!.!.!.!.so maybe something like that could help you too!.

p!.s!. my best friend is a dental nurse!.!.!.& she swears by Sensodyne!.!.!.her dentist recommends that toothpaste too!.!.!.!.so there must be something good in it!.!.!.although it is a bit pricey!Www@Answer-Health@Com
