Question: Braces more painful than spacers + a few questions!?
I just got spacers this morning and they didnt hurt like until 30 minutes after!. Then I tried to just forget about it!. But then it got worse!.!. ALOT worse! So i took a motrin and it stop hurting a little bit! my teeth hurt so bad, especially when i chew, but i get them off tomorrow and tomorrow i get my braces on!. Do braces hurt even more!? I hope not! Also two of my top spacers fell out like 10 minutes after i got them in, so I called the orthodontist and she said that means that i have enough room, is that true!?
and for a fun question= whats your favorite color for braces!? and also which gets the least dirty, and looks the nicest!?

spaces do fall out
thats alright it just means theve made the room
when you first get your braces they will hurt and feel stange in your mouth but you get used to it !!
they do hurt a little more but you cant take your usal stuff that you take for headaches to take the pain away
also sorry to put you off when you first have then they may rub on your lips so they give you wax to put on them and that helps
as for the colours if you dont want ot go for a colur first then go for silver as its not noticable
or you cant go for colours straight away
no colurs look dirty
and for combos i once have flouro green and pink on the top and blue and yellow on the bottom all at once and it looked amazing
but first i had pink and black and they all looked nice

Well, When i got my spacers, it hurt sooo bad i took pain relievers every 6 hours!
Trust me that braces won't hurt more than spacers! The only thing is that the first 2 days it feels funny and weird it might bother to eat, but thats about it!.
I will get bright green on the top and bright purple on the bottom, just to be wild and wacky lol =DWww@Answer-Health@Com

Okay well i am getting spacers the 30 of september and that is a very short time!. listen to your ortho!. if she said that theres enough space and that they've done their job then they must of!.
I plan on getting dark blue!. it won't get dirty and just like that color!. Also from what i've heard silver goes with everything and won't get too dirty!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Spacers are the biggest pain! Braces are a lot less painful, but they will hurt for the first few days!. After that you can hardly tell they are there!. If the spacers fell out it means that there is enough room since you need the amount of space a spacer takes up for your braces!. My fav color was reds and blues!. I say they all look nice but the white and clear can get stained and can make your teeth look yellow!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Braces don't hurt too bad!. They get sore a little when they get tightened!. I like black and blue for braces!. I mean like baby blue!. You don't really notice a lot of food with those colors on me!. White gets dirty fast and never go with yellow! I tried it and it was so ugly!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
i hated my spacers!. Braces only hurt when you have to get them tightened up!. and that's once every month!. if the ortho told you that then its probably true but i got so tire of mine that i took them out myself!. they had a tough time getting the back bands to go onWww@Answer-Health@Com
i've had spacers and i have braces right now!.
Braces hurt in the beginning for about 3-5 days, but it is so worth it!. My top teeth are now straight!.

I had black braces!. Braces do hurt the first 3 days!. My bottom teeth hurt most!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Braces hurt about the same as the spacers- my mouth was sore and it felt like everything was pulling together (which s what braces are doing)!. When you actually get the braces on, take a tylenol or ibuprofen BEFORE you go in so the painkiller kicks in right away!. Your mouth will feel weird and sore for a few days but you get used to it fairly quickly!.
And if your orthodontist said that then it's probably right!. The spacers are there to move your teeth slightly so the metal brackets that go around your back teeth fit!.
When I had braces I always got pink, and they looked fine :) Any color is good if you brush regularly!.!. Just avoid yellow, dark green, and white!. Yellow and white make your teeth look discolored and green makes it look like you have food stuck in your teeth!
