Resin or metal partial?!

Question: Resin or metal partial!?
Which is better for a lower partial with mostly back teeth!? Both cost the same!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
That is hard to say!. the metal will be stronger, but, the resin will probably not show (as least, not as much)!. Are you going to look into a valplast partial!. Those are more realistic and should last a long time!. I would choose the valplast; especially if you are younger!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Resin!! The resin partial will be much more comfortable!. Metal partials are the traditional type, but with advances in technology with the all-resin type, you can't go wrong!. They flex and function better in my opinion!. The fit is almost always more natural!. Metal partials are ideal when replacing an entire row of posterior teeth!. If you have back molars for the resin partial to rest on--you are golden!. Resin partials require less drilling on your existing teeth and less time in the dental chair for adjustments and fitting!. Patients usually prefer the resin versus the metal because the metal is bulky and unkind to oral tissues!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
