This page should have information on how gingivitis treatment is done: http://www!.d-spa!.com!.au/d-spa-treatments!.!.!.

If you're already on antibiotics, the pain should go away as the gums are healing!. Minty mouthwashes and panadeine (e!.g!. Panadol) will help ease discomfort!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Gingivitis is a mild form of periodontal disease but its symptoms tend to be quite mild and almost always painless unless you touch the gums directly during the latter stages!.

The best treatment is prevention!. Keep your teeth and gums healthy by maintaining proper oral hygiene!. Brushing, flossing and rinsing your mouth with mouthwash can avoid accumulation of plaque and bacteria responsible for gingivitis!. Any behavior or substance that causes dehydration lowers the ability of your body to prevent gum disease and gingivitis problems!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are on antibiotics I'm assuming the gingivitis is caused by an infection rather than a build up of plaque or unclean teeth!. The antibiotics should clear up the infection within a couple of weeks!. In the meantime you should gently brush your teeth and not rub too hard to intensify the pain!. If however it is caused by plaque build up it is quite the opposite, you would need to go and get your teeth scraped clean by a dentist!. Either way, I'd give your dentist a call!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

painful gingivits needs more thasn just antibiotic or tooth brushing, it needs removal of the cause, for example if there is calculus deposites, it should be removed by a dentist, then u keep oral hygienic measures, by regular tooth brushing, vit "C" supplements may help strengthen ur gums after removal of the causeWww@Answer-Health@Com

brush your teeth regularly if its really bad see your dentist for plaque removalWww@Answer-Health@Com
