Question: Do spacers (seperators) hurt when you get them!?
im getting spacers tomorrow!. do they hurt!? is it only like a pinch when they put it in, and then it aches for a little!? if thats it then im okay with that!. also, i cant fall asleep! how do i fall asleep faster!!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I got them before my braces and if found that it just felt like a piece of food stuck between my teeth at first!. Then later on they actually started to feel really sore!. When I would eat, it would hurt so i just ate soup!. I guess it depends on your pain tolerance but from my experience it did hurt!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Not really!. Your teeth might ache a bit as they move, but if you take an aspirin first you should be just fine!.
How to fall asleep: take a nice warm bath and listen to some relaxing music!. Then have a cup of hot tea and get into bed; turn out all your lights and concentrate on relaxing each muscle one at a time!. When you are totally relaxed, listen to the sound of yourself breathing!.

I have had spacers! They hurt fora little while but you get used to them and its the same with braces after awhile u cant even tell ur there!! With the spacers the only hurt when you first get them in because your not used to them!! when you get used to the you will be fine! Oh ya and when you eat with them in you might feel like there going to come out!. DON'T EAT ANYTHING STICKY THEY WILL COME OUT IF YOU DO!. Just becareful and you wll be fine!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Not really, it depends on how long you will have them on for and how thick they are, mine hurt for the first two days but not that much!. Don't worry about them, a lot of people get them!. It's not as bad as most people think they are!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
