If it hasn't stopped bleeding you can take a moist tea bag and bite on it for a while, this helps with the clotting!. You can eat anything you want, just wait until you are no longer numb!. If you get food stuck in the extraction sites leave it alone, if you pick it out you could pick the clot out and cause a dry socket!. Do not suck out of a straw or swish hard, that too could cause a dry socket!. If you keep the gauze in too long, it could stick to the clot and when you take the gauze out it may pull the clot out, so make sure the gauze is beside the hole and not on it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

best thing to do is keep the gauze in there as long as possible, that will help with the bleeding!. you can eat when ever you feel like you can!. only thing is keep away from things like rice, grits, and anything small enough to get stuck in those holes!. you can drink, just not through a straw-you WILL get dry socket!. and you do not want that!. i got all my widom teeth pulled at once, and got dry socket in 3 of my 4 holes!. as for what you can drink, anything really!. just not orange juice with pulp in it!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't put your head forward!. Keep your head tilted back !. When you put your head forward you teeth will start to bleed again!. It will seem like your mouth has stopped bleeding and then when you look down they will start again!. It will be several hours of your head back on a pillow before it's safe to put your head down!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
