It has nothing to do with the root canal, but it could have something to do with the treatment!. You had your mouth open for probably an hour or so, that can totally cause jaw pain which may feel like a toothache!. Or, now that your front tooth is out of pain you may be feeling other things going on in your mouth!.!.!.!.!.!.

It's possible if more than one thing is going on, you may only feel the worst one!.

Another possibility, did the dentist only do that root canal or were any other fillings done at the same time!? If another filling was done, you may have a high spot somewhere that's causing you to put too much pressure on your back teeth!. Or, you may be a clencher!.

Regardless, there are too many possibilities to count!. You should make an appointment with your dentist (before your crown appt!.) just to make sure everything is alright!. There's no benefit in putting up with the pain, and chances are it may be a really quick fix!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The pain is just a side effect of the root canal!. You don't feel any pain because the doctor put some clove oil or something to numb your gums!. Just take some Tylenol or something and you'll be fine, usually!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you had a root canal, the tooth is dead, no nerve!.
You won't feel anything!.

If you ever need a filling in it, you won't need any Novocaine!. The doc can drill all day and at most it's uncomfortable and noisy, but it won't hurt!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
