Question: Are rubber bands the last step when wearing braces
Ive had my braces for 16 months!. And the estimated treatment time was 18-24 months!. I haven't gotten rubberbands yet, and i was wondering if im going even get them, and if when i do get them, its the last part of the treatment!.
I had an overbite, and got teeth removed to fix that!. So yeah if that helps!.

Rubber bands can do a lot of different things!. Sometimes they are in the middle of treatment, sometime they are the last thing done, and sometimes they are not needed at all!. No matter when you get them, the better you are at wearing them 24/7 the faster you get your braces off!. If you are a slacker with the rubber bands, you can add months and months to your treatment!. If you wear them all the time, you speed up the whole process and get them off much faster!.
At your next brace-tightening, ask your dentist if you will ever need the rubber bands!. He will know if it's in your future or not, and should be able to estimate how much longer you have until you get your naked teeth back!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Pretty much yes!. I have braces and they told me that if I wore my rubber bands they would be off in two to four months!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
it depends on what's wrong with your teeth!. u usually only wear them if u have a gap, like i did!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
