If it is a tooth colored filling you should wait for the numbness to wear off, if your not numb you can eat right away the filling would already be set!. If it is a grey or amalgam filling, you need to wait a few hours until the filling is completely set!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If you've had pain relief (anaethsetic) then you should wait at least 2 hrs, just incase you bite your tongue, gums or lips!. If you were brave and took no pain relief then you can eat straight away!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
When the numbness goes away!. The only thing you really need to worry about is eating when your mouth is numb, you could take a big bite out of your teeth or tongue!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
