Suggestions for foods/drinks after three molar extractions?!

Question: Suggestions for foods/drinks after three molar extractions!?
Hi!
Ok, I just had three large molars taken out today!. This is kinda painful, and I think I might be recuperating for a bit!. So, I was wondering what kinds of foods I can have while I'm waiting for my mouth to heal!. Does anyone have any suggestions for foods that could be good!? My mum is going to call before she gets off work, and she'll be waiting for a list for me, and i have no idea what to tell her! All she could suggest was jello, but um!.!.!. I'm certain I will need more than that!.!.!. she's extremely busy so if I already know what I need that would be awesome!.

Could anyone kindly help me with this!? Thank you!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Try soft foods like jello, pudding, chicken noddle soup or broth, mike shakes, ice cream but whatever you do, DO NOT drink threw a straw or smoke because it may cause dry socket and that is very painful!.

Best of luck to you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am only an assistant, so my opinion doesn't matter too much but I do have more experience than anyone off the street!. First, he should have given you antibiotics (usually in pill form)!. Make sure it is totally cleared up before he does any work or the infection could spread throughout your body!. I'm sure the paste was an antibiotic!.
Plastic crowns are cheaper but don't last as long as metal!. If that tooth could have an abcess you may want tojust get it pulled!.
Your dentist probably checked for that already so you should just do whatever he suggests!. When they do a crown they shave your tooth down to a stub, put a temporary over the stub until your custom crown is fabricated, then they have to fit the crown to your mouth once it comes back to them!. So you still have most of your tooth, you just need the outside reinforced!.
If you need a root canal, make sure the infection is completly gone before he does the procedure, if the infection reoccours you may loose the tooth!.
I am only an assistant so I think you should do whatever your doctor suggests!. Private practice dentists are usually the best!. Some chain offices are run by an office manager, not the dentist, and if your dentist accepts every insurance under the sun, he has to do twice as many patients to make up for it!. You want a dentist that has a second to sit down for a minute, otherwise he's just trying to squeeze in as many patients as he can!. My best advise is to choose a good dentist! That way you can trust anything he tells you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
