Wisdom teeth extracted today...is this normal?!
Question: Wisdom teeth extracted today!.!.!.is this normal!?
I just had my wisdom teeth extracted this morning at 9:30 and now it is 6pm!. I feel great and I am not swollen AT ALL and there is no pain!. Is this normal!? Or does everything just get worse in the next few days!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, it can be normal!. If the teeth hadn't been in place that long, they may not have been rooted in the jawbone!. That being the case, removal is fairly easy and all that is damaged is the gums!. My eldest two had two removed, under a local, in those circumstances!. My daughter went to the movies that same night- though she skipped on the popcorn and straw!. My son went out the next day with friends!. Neither had much pain, and there was no swelling!. For right now, just take it easy and follow your aftercare instructions!. Stay away from straws, and go easy on the chewing!. And count yourself fortunate!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Always wait untill the next day before you get over excited, sorry to say but any tooth extraction will cause pain since the tooth is embedded into the jaw bone!. Most likely you still have some bruising, swelling, and pain to come!. BUT if there is no pain, or anything I hope you don't wake up with the Pain!. I wouldn't wish any kind of Oral pain on anyone!. when i had mine taken out last year i didn't have any swelling or pain!. but the weird thing was i had them taken out 2 at a time!. so the next time i had the other 2 taken out, which was about 6 weeks later, there was a little swelling!.

Oh its very normal!. The swelling won't show until the next day!. Not sure about the pain though because i never experienced pain throughtout the whole week!. Probably depends on the person Www@Answer-Health@Com
It is an individual thing!. You could look like you're storing nuts for the winter in the next few days but the inflammation and discomfort usually subsides in the first 24 hours!.!.!.congrats!Www@Answer-Health@Com
I actually felt like that too, but then the next couple of days were painful--not horrible, just worse than the first day! Maybe you'll fell good the whole time! Happy recovery!Www@Answer-Health@Com
