its been about 10 hours and my lower lip and chin are still completely numb and im starting to completely freak out at the idea that it could be like this for weeks months years or permanantly Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should expect to be less numb within the next few hours!. I would not worry too much about being permanently numb!. Those cases are very rare!. I believe they use a longer lasting anesthetic to extract wisdom teeth vs!. routine fillings!. Be careful about what you eat since you may end up biting your lip and chin!. I was totally numb for around 4 hours, but by ten I had all of my feeling back!. Did you take a lot of pain meds!? That might be making you feel like you are numb, when it could be a side effect!. I was numb for about 24 hours!. But my lip was heavy still the next day!. And i still have holes where they took the teeth out and it was last year!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Trust me it will go away soon! I've never met anyone who stayed numb for the rest of their life!. The dentist gave you extra lidocaine to keep the pain away!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
