How long does braces pain last?!!
Question: How long does braces pain last!?!
I got braces on tuesday and its friday and i still have pain!. I mean it has lessen since then but the MOST pain are my two top molars!. i can barely chew!. So for 5 days all I have been eating is mashed potatoes, corn meal, cream of wheat, baby food and jell-o, and I'm SO sick of it! I have a big BBQ to go to this sunday and I'm worried that I wont be able to eat anything! When will this pain go away!?! I'm sick and tired of it! My top and bottom still hurt but not too much; I can deal with that for a few days!.
Also I am getting two baby teeth extracted on August 7!. I was wondering if that is very painful because If this braces pain goes away and that pain comes in I dont know what I will do! I'll probably rip someones head off! lol!. So PLEASE answer! Thanks in advance! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

okay well when i first got my braces my teeth killed, but the pain went away within a week or so!. but i would try eating harder foods every day, try cheese, strawberries or maccaroni, etc!., just to kinda get your teeth used to chewing!. so just hang in there, it'll get better!.
i've had teeth pulled before and other things [all together i've had four mouth surgeries =/], but the only part that hurt about my surgeries were the numbing shots, those hurt really bad but its really worth it so you dont feel the other stuff!. but after the surgery i didnt feel pain!. hope your teeth extraction goes well =]

Ok the pain will eventually go away, but youre prolonging it by not eating regular food, it will hurt more for a little while but you get over it quicker!.!.!.Plus try using soft sugarless gum, it really helps to keep the soreness down, and kinda distracts you from the painWww@Answer-Health@Com
Take alot of tylonol the day you have the BBQ!.!.!.30 mins before you eat!.!.!.The pain will go away in a couple more days!.!.!.give it some time!.!.!.to make the pain on the day you get your teeth pulled take a LITTLE more of a dosage of CHILDRENS tylonol!.!.!.so you dont get an overdose!.!.!.!.for your braces pain take the tiny pill adult ibeprofen,your mom should know what that is!.!.!.before you get your teeth pulled make them a little more loose mess with them ALOT make sure you dont disturb the wire or the brackets!.!.!.I had to get one tooth pulled before!.!.!.and it didn't hurt as bad or bleed as bad I wiggled it alot and it actually worked!.!.!.let me know if this helps!!
