Answers:
Teeth are embedded in the bone of the jaw!. However, the bone that surrounds teeth is a spongy bone!. If you were to exert pressure on any tooth for an extended period of time (like when one get braces) the tooth will move into and stay in a new position as the spongy bone reacts to pressure by breaking down and rebuilding in response to pressure changes!.
If you stop wiggling the tooth and let it "rest" a few days it should be ok!. Call the dentist if complications develop!.
