Any remmidies for an ulcer?!

Question: Any remmidies for an ulcer!?

I have a bad ulcer in my mouth that hurts really bad! I have some Colgate Orabase that expired 2/2008!. Is it still ok to use!? Does anyone know how to make the ulcer go away or any home remidies to help soothe it!? Anything!? Plz it hurts really bad!
