I need a root canal...!
Question: I need a root canal!.!.!.
Ok so I'm only 13 and take really good care of my teeth!. I brush at LEAST 3 times a day and use mouthwash!. I've already had a root canal for some reason even though I take good care of my teeth!. I went back to the dentist the other day and I have to get another one!. I found this out maybe 2 or 3 weeks ago!. I went on vacation and when I came back I was planning on making an apointment within the next week or so!. Today my toth that I need the root canal done on chipped really bad!. Like a big chunk!. I don't know what to do!? Do they still give me the root canal!. or do they just pull the tooth or what!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

same thing happened to me (and i take good care of my teeth so i for sure know what its like)!. ive had 2 root canals as well!. both of the teeth i had one on were chipped!. one was worse than the other -basically half of my tooth had come out!. yes they still do a root canal and in the root canal they'll like shave down some more of your tooth like smoothing it out and then you have to like get a crown (basically like a fake tooth) put on it!. its not that bad!.!.!.just some more appointmentsWww@Answer-Health@Com
they would probably still do the root canal because a crown goes on top of it anyway!. they would do the canal and make a crown to fit the shape of the operated tooth!. because your tooth is rotting away from the inside a root canal is imperative to your health!. ive had one, so i know!. it sucks but it needs to be done!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
they usually won't pull it- and would do a root canal-- these aren't as bad as they may once have been!. I used to be horrible going to the dentist!.!. but not anymore!. In the long run you'll be glad you did get it if you find out it is necessary, Good luck, honey!. It will be over before you know it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
ordinarily, they will still recommend the root canal if there is enough of the tooth left to attach a cap but the decision is yours (& your parent's) Www@Answer-Health@Com
