Question: Help me with a tooth abscess
Ok, day before yesterday i began to have pain in my upper jaw area, It progressed fast and I went to urgent care later that afternoon!. I had ALOT of pain, and it seemed to be a "boil" on my gum!. I was diagnosed with an abscessed tooth!. So I was prescribed Pennicllen!. Yesterday I awoke with the side infected SOOOO Swollen!. Tricare doc referred me back to the ER!. I was given a pennicillen shot (ouch) and told to remain on the antibiotic pills!. The pain is not really noticable but the swelling wont go down at all, and the fistule burst !.!.!.in my mouth(is that ok!?)!.I do have an appt with the denist on monday!. I'm so worried I cannot sleep though!Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes for now, that tooth is going to come out and theyre just giving you medication to bring down the swelling and kill bacteria before they go in there and take it out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
