Question: I'm 4!.5 months pregnant and my tooth is killing me!
I hate the dentist to begin with, and have an appointment scheduled for a cleaning on the 11th and I'll try to wait til then, but what can they do for me!? What if I need a root canal!? My tooth and the surrounding gum on both sides of my tooth are very sore and it hurts to chew with/near that tooth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

when you say the gum is sore, that is normal in pregnancy, however if it hurts to chew i would go and get it checked straight away!.
Just ask what needs to be done on the tooth and ask if you could possibly come back for the tmt, if your really worried about it and ask for some antibiotics!.

they will try their best to do stuff but they can't do much b/c they like to see an xray i believe to see how bad a tooth is!. i went in a few days b4 i found out i was pregnant and they did xrays and that's what they worked off of from the one tooth!. but they did a root canal on it and the would have xrayed it again to make sure they extracted all the roots but they didnt' b/c of the pregnancy!. so now i think they left a root in there b/c it hurts :( i have 3 more months to go b4 i get anything done again!.
