Question: Got braces 5 days ago!i only eat soup,marshed stuff & ice cream!.when will i b able to eat normally!?

After about a week everything should stabilize and you may continue to eat all brace-safe foods (pretty much anything that isn't hard as a rock)!. Orthodontists also recommend staying away from gum, though sugar-free gum seems to be fine with them!. I found that I could chew nearly all gum with my braces and it would not get stuck!.!.!. just the occasional trapped-below-the-lower-lip scene!.
